Emerging Media: Technology, Industry, and Society（《新兴媒体：技术、产业与社会》，以下简称《新兴媒体》）是上海交通大学媒体与传播学院与Sage出版社联合创办的一本经过同行评审的开放获取（OA）国际学术期刊，于2023年9月发行第一期。

Emerging

Media: Technology, Industry and Society (Emerging Media thereafter) is

an SJTU-SAGE open-access peer-reviewed scholarly journal. The first

issue of the Emerging Media was published in September 2023.

Aim and Scope

《新兴媒体》聚焦媒体和传播领域的新兴问题和未来发展，尊重并欢迎来自全球、从理论或实践视角出发、采用不同研究范式和方法论、扎根不同学科领域的研究与见解。通过发表前沿研究与卓越见解，《新兴媒体》旨在增进学界与社会大众对于以下3个方面的理解：

1. 新兴媒体技术本身；

2. 新兴媒体技术影响力辐射下的媒体产业发展与管理；

3. 新兴媒体技术的社会与文化内涵。

此外，《新兴媒体》鼓励媒体发展史、人工智能、信息和通信技术、新媒体应用、用户体验设计、数据科学、美学、技术伦理和文化研究，以及社会心理等学科相关的跨学科研究与合作。

The

journal focuses on the exploration of emerging issues and future

development in the field of media and communication. The Journal will

include high-quality work from the international community of scholars

across the domain of relevant disciplines, free from any specific

schools and/or particular paradigms. In general, the scope of the

journal includes the following three intertwined aspects: (1) media and

technology; (2) industry and management; and (3) society and culture.

This

journal will publish interdisciplinary research articles and trending

discussions, particularly in conjunction with the field of artificial

intelligence (AI), information and communication technologies (ICTs),

user experience design, data science, aesthetics, ethical and cultural

studies, as well as social and psychological perspectives.

《新兴媒体》只接受英文稿件，作者无需支付出版费。目前征收的稿件类型包括：原创性研究文章、研究报告、研讨文章、访谈、书评。具体要求请见投稿指南。

Emerging

Media accepts manuscripts in English and there are no publication fees

to publish in Emerging Media. The journal welcomes manuscripts that fall

into one of the following categories: original research articles,

research notes, colloquium, interviews, and book reviews.
