Genome Biology《基因组生物学》（一年1卷）. Genome Biology publishes outstanding research in all areas of biology and biomedicine studied from a genomic and post-genomic perspective.

Transgenic Research《转基因研究》（双月刊）. Transgenic Research focusses on transgenic and genome edited higher organisms. Manuscripts emphasizing biotechnological applications are strongly encouraged. Intellectual property, ethical issues, societal impact and regulatory aspects also fall within the scope of the journal. Transgenic Research aims to bridge the gap between fundamental and applied science in molecular biology and biotechnology for the plant and animal academic and associated industry communities.

Systematic and Applied Microbiology《系统与应用微生物学》（双月刊）. Systematic and Applied Microbiology deals with various aspects of microbial diversity and systematics of prokaryotes. It focuses on Bacteria and Archaea; eukaryotic microorganisms will only be considered in rare cases.

Synthetic Biology《合成生物学》（年刊）. Synthetic Biology is a new open access journal which covers all aspects of synthetic biology; including papers on the mathematical modelling and practical engineering in the field. This includes genetic circuit design, computational methods, genetic systems and circuit design, viral engineering, cell design and construction, assembly platforms, DNA synthesis, synthetic metagenomics, pathway construction, gene optimization, protein engineering, metabolic engineering, programmed evolution, cellular manufacturing, mathematical modelling and engineering processes.

SLAS Discovery《国际实验室自动化与筛选协会发现》（一年8期）. SLAS Discovery reports how scientists develop and use novel technologies and/or approaches to provide and characterize chemical and biological tools to understand and treat human disease.

Protein Expression and Purification《蛋白质表达与纯化》（月刊）. Protein Expression and Purification is an international journal providing a forum for the dissemination of new information on protein expression, extraction, purification, characterization, and/or applications using conventional biochemical and/or modern molecular biological approaches and methods, which are of broad interest to the field. The journal does not typically publish repetitive examples of protein expression and purification involving standard, well-established, methods. However, exceptions might include studies on important and/or difficult to express and/or purify proteins and/or studies that include extensive protein characterization, which provide new, previously unpublished information.

Protein Engineering, Design and Selection《蛋白质工程、设计与精选》（一年1卷）. Protein Engineering, Design and Selection (PEDS) publishes high-quality research papers and review articles relevant to the engineering, design and selection of proteins for use in biotechnology and therapy, and for understanding the fundamental link between protein sequence, structure, dynamics, function, and evolution.

Process Biochemistry《过程生物化学》（月刊）. Process Biochemistry is an application-orientated research journal devoted to reporting advances with originality and novelty, in the science and technology of the processes involving bioactive molecules and living organisms. These processes concern the production of useful metabolites or materials, or the removal of toxic compounds using tools and methods of current biology and engineering. Its main areas of interest include novel bioprocesses and enabling technologies (such as nanobiotechnology, tissue engineering, directed evolution, metabolic engineering, systems biology, and synthetic biology) applicable in food (nutraceutical), healthcare (medical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic), energy (biofuels), environmental, and biorefinery industries and their underlying biological and engineering principles.

Probiotics and Antimicrobial Proteins《益生菌与抗菌蛋白》（双月刊）. Probiotics and Antimicrobial Proteins publishes reviews, original articles, letters (short notes) and technical (methodological) communications targeted towards the advancement of the fundamental knowledge and exploration of the applications of probiotics, natural antimicrobial proteins and their derivatives in biomedical, agricultural, veterinary, food, and cosmetic products. The Journal equally welcomes fundamental research articles and reports on applications of these microorganisms and substances. The Journal encourages structural studies and studies that correlate the structure and functional properties of antimicrobial proteins.

Plant Cell, Tissue and Organ Culture《植物细胞、组织与器官培养》（月刊）. PCTOC: Journal of Plant Biotechnology publishes original articles, reviews, and perspective papers covering novel discoveries. Papers must focus on timely research on plant biotechnology, should be concise, and of interest to a wide audience. Studies lacking adequate replication and statistical analysis will be rejected and not sent to reviewers.We are interested in understanding and elucidating transcriptional and/or translational events involved in gene regulation as well as unraveling the genetic, molecular and physiological determinism of growth and differentiation of plant cells, tissues and organs cultured in vitro.
