由上海市胸科医院与AME出版社共同创办于2017年5月的Shanghai Chest（《上海胸科杂志》，简称SHC杂志，网页：https://shc.amegroups.com）是一本开放获取、经同行评审的国际英文医学期刊。SHC杂志聚焦于与胸部疾病相关领域内的研究，以促进胸部疾病诊疗，造福病患为任，通过刊登具有创新性、实用性和突破性的科研成果为方式，致力于创建一个国际化的学术交流平台。SHC杂志由上海胸科医院院长潘常青教授、美国华盛顿大学医学院G. Alexander Patterson教授和美国紀念斯隆-凱特琳癌症中心Gaetano Rocco教授担任共同主编，上海胸科医院方文涛教授担任执行主编，上海胸科医院傅小龙教授、韩宝惠教授、姜丽岩教授、陆舜教授、路丽明教授、罗清泉教授、赵珩教授、英国St Bartholomew’s Hospital的David Waller教授以及意大利San Gerardo Hospital的Marco Scarci教授担任副主编。截至2021年4月15日，期刊编委团队由来自19个国家的99位专家组成。

SHC adheres to the ICMJE’s Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly work in Medical Journals (1), COPE’s Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors (2), and WAME’s policy (3) for generating this author instruction. Please refer to the following guidelines to help you prepare your manuscript. Feel free to contact the editorial office by email (shc@amegroups.com) should you have any questions. To ensure a swift peer review and publication process, manuscripts that do not adhere to the following instructions will be returned to the corresponding author for technical revision at the preliminary review. 1. ABOUT THE JOURNAL

Shanghai Chest (ISSN 2521-3768; Shanghai Chest; SHC; shc.amegroups.com) is an international peer-reviewed, open-access journal covering various aspects of benign and malignant chest diseases, including but not limited to: pulmonary diseases, tracheal and bronchial disorder, pleural diseases, esophageal disorder, mediastinal and chest wall diseases. As the Official Journal of Shanghai Chest Hospital, it not only presents the high-quality research and unique techniques from the Hospital, but also welcomes submissions from authors worldwide, publishing articles that focus on chest diseases in a wide range of forms and meet the professional and educational needs of its readers. SHC aims at serving as an international platform for surgeons and physicians worldwide to share the advanced research, spectacular surgical techniques and precious experience in the field of chest disease, for the ultimate benefit of all patients.

Published articles include Invited Articles and Submitted Papers, e-Comments on all published articles, and Editorials. In-depth research, instructional and educational video clips, photos, schematics will be a favor. Besides regular issues of the journal, articles in defined areas will be collected and published in Themed Collections. The high quality of its content is assured by a rigorous review process, supervised by a strong editorial board.

The entire submission and review process are mainly managed through OJS system, an electronic system, which provides an efficient way and ensures a rapid turnaround of papers submitted for publication.
