This change was made by the Journal Editorial Board after considering a number of different titles. The Journal of the American Society for Horticultural Science publishes papers on the results of original research on horticultural plants and their products or directly related research areas. Its prime function is to communicate mission-oriented, fundamental research to other researchers.

Journal of the American Pomological Society《美国果树栽培学会志》（季刊）. The prime purpose of the Journal of the American Pomological Society is to provide a repository for information on all aspects of fruit and nut crops. The long-term emphasis of the journal on cultivars and rootstocks continues, but manuscripts reporting original research on a wide range of fruit and nut crops are welcomed. Acceptable areas of research include pruning, nutrition, growth regulators, cultural practices, economics, and pest control. Studies involving the interaction of one or more of these aspects with either cultivars and/or rootstocks are particularly appropriate.

The American Mosquito Control Association’s mission is to provide leadership, information, and education leading to the enhancement of health and quality of life through the suppression of mosquitoes and other vector-transmitted diseases, and the reduction of annoyance levels caused by mosquitoes and other vectors and pests of public health importance.

JAAHA, the Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association, is a bimonthly, peer-reviewed scientific journal that features original studies, AAHA guidelines, review articles, and more for the small-animal veterinary community.

The Journal of Texture Studies is a fully peer-reviewed international journal specialized in the physics, physiology, and psychology of food oral processing, with an emphasis on the food texture and structure, sensory perception and mouth-feel, food oral behaviour, and food liking and preference.
