      《真菌多样性(英文)》投稿指南

      【官网信息】

      Submissions

      General policy

      Fungal

Diversity welcomes submissions in the form of reviews, research

articles, methodology papers, taxonomic works (such as monographs), and

checklists related to fungal biology, including lichens. The official

      journal language is English.

      Plagiarism

      Authors

are encouraged to use plagiarism detection tools when submitting their

manuscripts. Any submission with a plagiarism rate exceeding 30%, will

      be rejected.

      Preprint

      The

submission of manuscripts previously posted as preprints, are not

considered duplicate publications. Preprints become part of the

permanent scientific record, assigned a DOI and can be cited. When

submitting a manuscript that has been posted as a preprint, please

include a link to it in the Supplementary Materials, following the

      Fungal Diversity template.

      Upon

acceptance, please add the following acknowledgment to your preprint:

"This article has been accepted for publication in Fungal Diversity,

published by Mushroom Research Foundation." After the article is

published online, update the preprint with this statement: "The article

was published in Fungal Diversity on [date of publication], available

      online: https://doi.org/[Article DOI]."

      Manuscript preparation - General requirements

      For

efficient processing, manuscripts should be well-prepared in terms of

both scientific content and formatting. Please refer to the 'template'

or review the layout of the most recent publications for formatting

      guidelines.

Template Download: Click here to download

Main text and figure legends must be written in Times New Roman, 12 pt, single-spaced.

Italicize Latin names of genera and species

Avoid hyphenation throughout the manuscript (disable automatic hyphenation).

No special formatting should be applied.

Page numbering should be in the bottom right corner of each page.

      For

papers that introduce new scientific names, authors must register the

names in the appropriate repositories and obtain Faces of Fungi numbers

for each taxon. Visit http://www.facesoffungi.org/ for more information.

      Phylogenetic

trees: Authors must submit their alignment files in FASTA format at the

time of submission. If the manuscript includes more than five genera,

all alignment files must be compressed and submitted via email to

fudimrf@gmail.com. The subject of the email should be the submission ID

      of the manuscript.

      Submission of manuscripts

Effective from 1st July 2025, all manuscript submissions to Fungal Diversity must be made via our official submission system:

      https://li04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/fungal_diversity/about/submissions

"Please note that submissions through the website are no longer accepted."

For enquires, please contact us at fudimrf@gmail.com

      Fungal

Diversity will only accept manuscripts that fit the regulations of the

journal. Any manuscript not following the 'template' will be returned

      for reformatting.

      Electronic submission guidelines

      First submission

When submitting your manuscript, the following files are required:

A Word file of a properly structured/formatted manuscript, including the full text, tables and figures/plates,

The names, affiliations, and emails of three potential referees with cover letters.

      Important:

Please ensure that all plates and tables are placed within the text at

the appropriate points where you would like them to appear in the

      published article.

      Submission of revised manuscripts

      For

accepted papers, revisions must be submitted with careful attention to

formatting instructions. The revised final version should be ready for

publication, with high-quality figures and tables. Manuscripts not

properly formatted according to journal guidelines will be returned for

      further revisions.

All changes in the revised version must be highlighted and reviewer responses along with rebuttals must be provided.

      Figures

should be submitted separately as JPEG files, captured at a minimum of

300 dpi resolution. Single photographs requiring composite mounting are

      not acceptable.

      Page charges

      Fungal

Diversity charges a flat fee of 2,800 Euro for article processing

charges (APC). If you require a waiver for this fee, please contact the

EIC. Funds collected will support research in mycology.

      Tables, Figures, and legends

      Tables

should be prepared using the table format feature of your word

processor, ensuring that each data entry occupies its own cell. Do not

use tabs, spaces, graphics, or boxes.

Top-line and left-column terms should begin with a capital letter.

Avoid vertical lines in the tables.

      Data

entries should be left-aligned, while numerical data should be aligned

by decimal points. For numbers less than 1, include a zero before the

      decimal point (e.g. 0.1).

      References

Format all references according to the 'Fungal Diversity'.

Citations should be listed alphabetically in the 'References' section and cited chronologically within the text.

      Review process

      1. Manuscripts first go through the admin checklist for format and plagiarism check.

      2. Then the manuscript will be reviewed by EIC to determine suitability for Fungal Diversity.

      3. Suitable manuscripts are assigned to a handling editor.

      4. The handling editor sends the manuscript for peer review by at least two independent reviewers.

      5. Reviewers provide recommendations to the handling editor.

      6.

The handling editor recommends revisions, acceptance, resubmission, or

decline and following improvements and additional review if needed,

forwards the final manuscript and decision to the EIC.

      7. The EIC makes the final decision and forwards accepted manuscripts to the managing editor for final proof

      Proofs

      Upon

acceptance, authors must submit the final version of the manuscript as a

Word file via Fungal Diversity email. Proofs will be sent as PDF files

via email and must be checked and returned within five working days. The

Fungal Diversity team is not responsible for errors not flagged within

      this period.

      Copyright

      Authors

are encouraged to deposit their papers online for free download. They

may also reuse their data and publish it elsewhere without requiring

permission from Fungal Diversity. The journal follows a Creative Commons

      Copyright License.
