TOUNG PAO《通报》（双月刊）。Founded in 1890, T’oung Pao has long been the leading scholarly journal on all aspects of traditional China. In the course of its existence, it has featured a wide range of formative contributions to Sinology by almost all major scholars in this field of ever-increasing importance. Peer-reviewed, under the guidance of its main editors, Toung Pao regularly presents the best new scholarship on China and also includes an extensive book review section.

Journal Asiatique《亚洲学报》（半年刊）. Le Journal Asiatique est une publication de la Société Asiatique avec le concours du Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. Le Journal, publié sans interruption depuis 1822, présente le résultat de recherches dans les domaines et les disciplines des études orientales, en langue française et en langues européennes. Les textes originaux sont reproduits dans la langue orientale du domaine. Chaque numéro contient des articles originaux, le compte-rendu des séances mensuelles, des comptes-rendus douvrages reçus à la Société Asiatique. Le Journal Asiatique est dirigé par le Conseil scientifique de la Société Asiatique.

Archiv Orientalni­《东方学文献》（一年3期）. Published by the Oriental Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Archív Orientální publishes articles, book-reviews and notes on all subjects connected with African and Asian studies. Contributions are in English, French and German. The journal was founded in 1929 by Bedrich Hrozný and has a reputation as one of the major periodicals on Oriental Studies. Occasionally supplementary volumes appear.

INDO-IRANIAN JOURNAL《印度伊朗杂志》（季刊）. The Indo-Iranian Journal (IIJ), founded in 1957, is a peer-reviewed journal that focuses on the ancient and medieval languages and cultures of South Asia and of pre-Islamic Iran. It publishes articles on Indo-Iranian languages (linguistics and literatures), such as Sanskrit, Avestan, Middle Iranian and Middle & New Indo-Aryan. It publishes specialized research on ancient Iranian religion and the Indian religions, such as the Veda, Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism (including Tibetan). The Journal welcomes epigraphical studies as well as general contributions to the understanding of the (pre-modern) history and culture of South Asia.

Archives of Asian Art《亚洲艺术档案》（半年刊）. Since its establishment in 1945, Archives of Asian Art has been devoted to publishing new scholarship on the art and architecture of South, Southeast, Central, and East Asia. Articles discuss premodern and contemporary visual arts, archaeology, architecture, and the history of collecting. To maintain a balanced representation of regions and types of art and to present a variety of scholarly perspectives, the editors encourage submissions in all areas of study related to Asian art and architecture. Every issue is fully illustrated (with color plates in the online version), and each fall issue includes an illustrated compendium of recent acquisitions of Asian art by leading museums and collections. Archives of Asian Art is a publication of Asia Society.

Journal of Asian History《亚洲史杂志》（半年刊）. The Journal of Asian History, now in its 42nd year of publication, covers historical research on any period and all regions of Asia with the exception of the Ancient Near East. It welcomes manuscripts that make use of primary sources on any aspect of East Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian, Inner Asian, and Middle Eastern history. The Journal of Asian History is an independent, international publication, printed in English, not linked with any society. It appears twice yearly and is published by Harrassowitz Verlag in Wiesbaden, Germany, with an editorial staff located at Indiana University.

JOURNAL OF ARABIC LITERATURE《阿拉伯文学杂志》（季刊）. The Journal of Arabic Literature (JAL) is the leading journal specializing in the study of Arabic literature, ranging from the pre-Islamic period to the present. Founded in 1970, JAL seeks critically and theoretically engaged work at the forefront of the field, written for a global audience comprised of the specialist, the comparatist, and the student alike. JAL publishes literary, critical and historical studies as well as book reviews on Arabic literature broadly understood– classical and modern, written and oral, poetry and prose, literary and colloquial, as well as work situated in comparative and interdisciplinary studies.

Journal of the American Oriental Society《美国东方学会杂志》（季刊）. The Journal of the American Oriental Society (ISSN 0003-0279 [print]; 2169-2289 [electronic]) is published quarterly by the American Oriental Society. The first volume (1843-49) set the tone for all time in the broad scope of subject matter and the solidity of its scholarship. From that year to the present day, the Journal has brought to the world of scholarship the results of the advanced researches of the most distinguished specialists in the literatures and civilizations of North Africa, the Near East, South and Southeast Asia, Inner Asia, and the Far East. The pages of the Journal are always open to original and interesting contributions from scholars.

Journal of Chinese Linguistics《中国语言学报》（半年刊）. Journal of Chinese Linguistics is an academic journal mainly in English, which comprises research content from both general linguistics and Chinese linguistics (Languages in China). JCL articles published since 1973 covered many linguistic sub-disciplines of the languages in China. The authors explore a variety of general linguistic areas such as phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics. It is indexed in Social Science Citation Index and 8 other databases and indexes.

Chinese Literature and Thought Today《今日中国文学与思想》（季刊）. Chinese Literature and Thought Today contains translations of articles from Chinese sources, primarily scholarly journals and collections of articles published in book form. The aim of the journal is to present the more important Chinese studies in this field in the light of those who are professionally concerned with it.
