It was continued by Felix Klein, David Hilbert, Otto Blumenthal, Erich Hecke, Heinrich Behnke, Hans Grauert, Heinz Bauer, Herbert Amann, Jean-Pierre Bourguigon, Wolfgang Lück, Nigel Hitchin and Thomas Schick. Mathematika《数学》（季刊）. Mathematika publishes both pure and applied mathematical articles of the highest quality. The traditional emphasis has been towards the purer side of mathematics but applied mathematics and articles addressing both aspects are equally welcome. All surplus income from the publication of Mathematika is returned to mathematicians and mathematics research.

Areas covered include numerical analysis, computational discrete mathematics, including number theory, algebra and combinatorics, and related fields such as stochastic numerical methods. Articles must be of significant computational interest and contain original and substantial mathematical analysis or development of computational methodology.
