It is the most general-interest journal among those specializing in economic theory. It is also one of nine core journals in all of economics. The Journal strives to respond in four months from receipt of the manuscript. It is committed to maintaining a fair and balanced view of different fields in economic theory, with an emphasis on innovative work. Submissions with significant empirical, experimental, quantitative, and computational contributions are welcome, provided they are firmly grounded in theory.

Journal of Economic Surveys《经济调查期刊》（一年5期）. As economics becomes increasingly specialized, communication amongst economists becomes even more important. The Journal of Economic Surveys seeks to improve the communication of new ideas. It provides a means by which economists can keep abreast of recent developments beyond their immediate specialization. Areas covered include: economics, econometrics, economic history and business economics.

Journal of Economics & Management Strategy《经济与管理战略杂志》（季刊）. The Journal of Economics & Management Strategy (JEMS) provides a leading forum for interaction and research on the competitive strategies of managers and the organizational structure of firms. The Journal features theoretical and empirical industrial organization, applied game theory, and management strategy.

Journal of Economics《经济学期刊》（一年9期）. Specializing in mathematical economic theory, Journal of Economics focuses on microeconomic theory while also publishing papers on macroeconomic topics as well as econometric case studies of general interest. Regular supplementary volumes are devoted to topics of central importance to both modern theoretical research and present economic reality.

Journal of Economic Psychology《经济心理学期刊》（双月刊）. The Journal aims to present research that will improve understanding of behavioral, in particular psychological, aspects of economic decisions and processes. The Journal seeks to be a channel for the increased interest in using behavioral science methods for the study of economic behavior, and so to contribute to better solutions of societal problems, by stimulating new approaches and new theorizing about economic affairs. Economic psychology as a discipline studies the psychological mechanisms that underlie economic behavior.

Journal of Economic Policy Reform《经济政策改革期刊》（季刊）. Journal of Economic Policy Reform offers new perspectives into some of the most critical economic policy issues of modern time. The Journal invites research from diverse backgrounds, including economics, political economy, development and planning, and the social sciences in general.

The Journal of Economic Perspectives《经济展望杂志》（季刊）. The Journal of Economic Perspectives (JEP) attempts to fill a gap between the general interest press and most other academic economics journals. The journal aims to publish articles that will serve several goals: to synthesize and integrate lessons learned from active lines of economic research; to provide economic analysis of public policy issues; to encourage cross-fertilization of ideas among the fields of thinking; to offer readers an accessible source for state-of-the-art economic thinking; to suggest directions for future research; to provide insights and readings for classroom use; and to address issues relating to the economics profession. Articles appearing in the journal are normally solicited by the editors and associate editors.

The Journal of Economic Methodology《经济学方法论杂志》（季刊）. The Journal of Economic Methodology is a peer-reviewed research journal in economic methodology and philosophy of economics as well as cognate areas of inquiry related to these fields. The Journal distinguishes between methodology (which concerns the relationship between economics and broad questions about scientific knowledge) and methods (which involve particular techniques relevant to practitioners in a specific field of economics) and reserves the pages of the Journal for authors and readers with broader epistemic interests.

Journal of Economic Literature《经济文献杂志》（季刊）. The Journal of Economic Literature (JEL), first published in 1969, is designed to help economists keep abreast of the vast flow of literature. JEL issues contain commissioned, peer-reviewed survey and review articles, book reviews, an annotated bibliography of new books classified by subject matter, and an annual index of dissertations in North American universities.

Journal of Economic Issues《经济问题杂志》（季刊）. The Journal of Economic Issues is published by the Association of Evolutionary Economics, an international organization of scholars unified in the beliefs that economy is an instituted process and that social progress requires intelligent institutional adjustment. It seeks to promote an economics that is useful for real world problem-solving. The Journal of Economic Issues is primarily interested in manuscripts that explain economic phenomena through a description and analysis of the formal and informal rules that regulate the use of natural resources and technology, define the distribution of economic power between individuals and groups, and delimit the scope of human agency.
