Case studies, global and comparative economic development, and the economic history of Australia and New Zealand are important for this journal, which began in 1960 as the Australian Economic History Review.

CEPAL Review《拉美经委会评论》（一年3期）. The CEPAL REVIEW was founded in 1976, along with the corresponding Spanish version, Revista de la cepal , and is published three times a year by the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, which has its headquarters in Santiago, Chile. The Review, however, has full editorial independence and follows the usual academic procedures and criteria, including the review of articles by independent external referees.
