Articles about the reception, adaptation, and influence of Bach — from his time to today — are also welcome. Journal of the Society for American Music is an international, peer-reviewed journal dealing with all aspects of American music and music in the Americas. JSAM is dedicated to supporting scholarship that transcends disciplinary boundaries, cutting across historical musicology, music theory, ethnomusicology, cultural theory, identity studies, and American studies.

Journal of the Royal Musical Association《英国皇家音乐协会刊》（半年刊）. The Journal of the Royal Musical Association was established in 1986 (replacing the Associations Proceedings) and is now one of the major international refereed journals in its field. Its editorial policy is to publish outstanding work in the field of music studies, broadly conceived including historical and critical musicology, theory and analysis, ethnomusicology, popular music studies, music pedagogy, audiovisual media, and practice-led research.

Journal of the Musical Arts in Africa《非洲音乐艺术杂志》（半年刊）. The Journal of the Musical Arts in Africa ( JMAA) is published by NISC (Pty) Ltd in association with the South African College of Music at the University of Cape Town. It is an accredited, internationally refereed journal that aims to combine ethnomusicological, musicological, music educational and performance-based research in a unique way to promote the musical arts on the African continent. This journal also incorporates book, audio and audiovisual media and software reviews.

Journal of Band Research《乐队研究杂志》（半年刊）. The Journal of Band Research is an official publication of The American Bandmasters Association and was begun in 1964. The Journal is edited and typeset in Greensboro, North Carolina and is published twice a year in the Fall and in the Spring by Troy University in Troy, Alabama.

Contemporary Music Review《当代音乐评论》（双月刊）. Contemporary Music Review provides a forum for musicians and musicologists to discuss recent musical currents in both breadth and depth. The main concern of the journal is the critical study of music today in all its aspects—its techniques of performance and composition, texts and contexts, aesthetics, technologies, and relationships with other disciplines and currents of thought. The journal may also serve as a vehicle to communicate documentary materials, interviews, and other items of interest to contemporary music scholars. All articles are subjected to rigorous peer review before publication. Proposals for themed issues are welcomed.

HUDEBNI VEDA《音乐学》（季刊）. A peer-reviewed musicological journal publishing historical and theoretical articles, analyses of compositions, reviews of local and foreign musicological literature or conferences, information about activities of musicological institutions and regular bibliography of musicological literature published in the Czech Republic.

Fontes artis musicae《国际音乐图书馆协会杂志》（季刊）. Fontes artis musicae, the journal of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML), publishes articles on topics relevant to the Association’s purposes, particularly in the area of international music librarianship and documentation, bibliography, audio-visual materials, and musicology. In addition to peer-reviewed scholarly articles, each issue features reviews of books, databases, and music scores.
