Language Learning and Development (LL&D) serves as a vehicle for interaction among the broad community of scholars and practitioners who investigate language learning, including language learning in infancy, childhood, and across the lifespan; language in both typical and atypical populations and in both native- and second-language learning. LL&D welcomes scholars who pursue diverse approaches to understanding all aspects of language acquisition, including biological, social, and cross-cultural influences, and who employ experimental, observational, ethnographic, comparative, neuroscientific, and formal methods of investigation.

Language & History《语言与历史》（一年3期）. Language & History (formerly the Bulletin of the Henry Sweet Society for the History of Linguistic Ideas) aims to promote the study of the history of all branches of linguistic thought, theoretical and applied, and including non-European traditions. Its fields of interest include the history both of the major subject areas of linguistics and also more specialised topics, such as writing systems, literacy, rhetoric, and the application of linguistic ideas within professional and technical fields.

Language, Culture and Curriculum《语言、文化与课程》（季刊）. Language, Culture and Curriculum is a well-established journal that seeks to enhance the understanding of the relations between the three dimensions of its title. It welcomes work dealing with a wide range of languages (mother tongues, global English, foreign, minority, immigrant, heritage, or endangered languages) in the context of bilingual and multilingual education and first, second or additional language learning. It focuses on research into cultural content, literacy or intercultural and transnational studies, usually related to curriculum development, organisation or implementation. Language Assessment Quarterly《语言评测季刊》（一年5期）. Language Assessment Quarterly: An International Journal (LAQ) is dedicated to the advancement of theory, research, and practice in first, second, and foreign language assessment for school, college, and university students; for employment; and for immigration and citizenship. LAQ publishes original articles addressing theoretical issues, empirical research, and professional standards and ethics related to language assessment, as well as interdisciplinary articles on related topics, and reports of language test development and testing practice. Language & Intercultural Communication《语言与跨文化交流》（双月刊）. Language & Intercultural Communication promotes an interdisciplinary understanding of the interplay between language and intercultural communication. It therefore welcomes research into intercultural communication, particularly where it explores the importance of linguistic aspects; and research into language, especially the learning of foreign languages, where it explores the importance of intercultural perspectives. The journal is alert to the implications for education, especially higher education, and for language learning and teaching.
