Zeitschrift der Deutschen Morgenländischen Gesellschaft《德国东方学会杂志》（半年刊）. Die im Jahre 1845 gegründete Deutsche Morgenländische Gesellschaft (DMG) gibt seit 1847 eine eigene, alle Teilgebiete der Orientalistik berührende Zeitschrift heraus. Die Zeitschrift der Deutschen Morgenländischen Gesellschaft (ZDMG) gehört bis in die Gegenwart auch über den deutschsprachigen Raum hinaus zu den bedeutendsten orientalistischen Fachperiodika.

TOUNG PAO《通报》（双月刊）。Founded in 1890, T’oung Pao has long been the leading scholarly journal on all aspects of traditional China. In the course of its existence, it has featured a wide range of formative contributions to Sinology by almost all major scholars in this field of ever-increasing importance. Peer-reviewed, under the guidance of its main editors, Toung Pao regularly presents the best new scholarship on China and also includes an extensive book review section.

Sungkyun Journal of East Asian Studies《成均东亚研究杂志》（半年刊）. Sponsored by the AEAS, the SJEAS shares its academic goal of promoting interdisciplinary research related to the region of East Asia, publishing both articles that stay within traditional disciplinary or regional boundaries, and works that explore the commonalities and contrasts found in East Asian countries or take an interdisciplinary approach.

Nan Nü-Men, Women and Gender in China《男女》（半年刊）. NAN NÜ, from early China to China nowadays, is an interdisciplinary, international, peer-reviewed journal featuring original studies related to men, women, and gender in the fields of Chinese history, literature, linguistics and language, anthropology, archeology, art and music, law, philosophy, medicine/science, and religion. Furthermore NAN NÜ contains a book review section on recent publications in women’s and gender studies. The journal occasionally features review articles and reports about important developments in gender studies. To best reach a wide spectrum of researchers, NAN NÜ is written in English.

The Muslim World《穆斯林世界》（季刊）. Founded in 1911, and edited by Hartford Seminary since 1938, The Muslim World is dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly research on Islam and Muslim societies and on historical and current aspects of Muslim-Christian relations. The journal includes research articles, book reviews, notices and surveys of periodicals.

Le Muséon（季刊）. La revue Le Muséon, Revue d’études orientales , fondée en 1881 par Ch. de Harlez est spécialisée dans le domaine de l’Orient chrétien ancien et médiéval, y compris le monde biblique, la civilisation byzantine et les débuts de l’Islam. Elle publie des textes arabes, arméniens, coptes, éthiopiens, géorgiens, grecs, nubiens, syriaques, etc., des études originales portant sur ces textes et sur les traditions des diverses nations de l’Orient chrétien. Les langues de publication sont le français, l’allemand, l’anglais et l’italien.

Monumenta Nipponica《日本文化志丛》（半年刊）. Founded by Sophia University in 1938, Monumenta Nipponica is an English-language, peer-reviewed journal that publishes outstanding research and translations, as well as authoritative book reviews, in premodern and modern Japanese studies.

Journal of the American Oriental Society《美国东方学会杂志》（季刊）. The Journal of the American Oriental Society (ISSN 0003-0279 [print]; 2169-2289 [electronic]) is published quarterly by the American Oriental Society. The first volume (1843-49) set the tone for all time in the broad scope of subject matter and the solidity of its scholarship. From that year to the present day, the Journal has brought to the world of scholarship the results of the advanced researches of the most distinguished specialists in the literatures and civilizations of North Africa, the Near East, South and Southeast Asia, Inner Asia, and the Far East. Journal of Song-Yuan Studies《宋辽金元研究杂志》（年刊）. Journal of Song-Yuan Studies is an annual publication devoted to promoting scholarship in all disciplines related to middle period China, with an especial focus on the Song, Liao, Jin, Xia, and Yuan dynasties.

Journal of Semitic Studies《闪语研究杂志》（半年刊）. The Journal of Semitic Studies was founded in 1955 and since then has established a reputation as one of the leading international academic journals in its field. The main focus of the journal is research on the Semitic languages of all periods. The editors invite the submission of papers on any aspect of Semitic languages. These may include studies of individual languages or comparative studies, synchronic or diachronic, based on spoken or written sources.
