Der Islam-Journal of the History and Culture of the Middle East《伊斯兰教历史与东方文化杂志》（半年刊）. Founded by Carl Heinrich Becker in 1910, the Journal Der Islam provides a forum for the study of the history and culture of the Middle East before the age of modernisation in the 19th century, from the Iberian Peninsula to Central Asia. Articles present the latest research in the humanities and social sciences based on literary traditions, and archival, material, as well as archaeological evidence.

Harvard Journal of Asiatic Studies《哈佛亚洲研究学报》（半年刊）. Since 1936 the Harvard Journal of Asiatic Studies (HJAS) has without interruption published outstanding original research and in-depth reviews of books about China, Japan, Korea, and Inner Asia. HJAS publishes the highest-quality scholarship in a multidisciplinary forum that includes premodern and modern literature, art history, and religious studies; digital humanities; premodern history and social science; and modern history and humanistic social science through the mid-twentieth century. The journal values analytically rigorous articles that place specialized research findings in a broader context for scholars working across East and Inner Asia. HJAS occasionally publishes clusters of articles that present focused and vibrant debate on specific topics. The editors welcome inquiries about special issues on focused topics.

The Eastern Buddhist《东方佛教》（半年刊）. The Eastern Buddhist carries articles on all aspects of Buddhism as well as English translations of classical Buddhist texts and works by modern Buddhist thinkers. This unique journal was begun in 1921 under the editorship of D. T. Suzuki. Although its publication was interrupted by World War Two, The Eastern Buddhist (New Series) was revived in 1965. After Suzukis death in 1966, the journal was continued under the editorship of Nishitani Keiji (1900-1990), Abe Masao (1915-2006), and other scholars. From 1998 to 2005 Nagao Gadjin (1907-2005) served as the editor.

Chinese Literature and Thought Today《今日中国文学与思想》（季刊）. Chinese Literature and Thought Today contains translations of articles from Chinese sources, primarily scholarly journals and collections of articles published in book form. The aim of the journal is to present the more important Chinese studies in this field in the light of those who are professionally concerned with it.

Archiv Orientalni­《东方学文献》（一年3期）. Published by the Oriental Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Archív Orientální publishes articles, book-reviews and notes on all subjects connected with African and Asian studies. Contributions are in English, French and German. The journal was founded in 1929 by Bedrich Hrozný and has a reputation as one of the major periodicals on Oriental Studies. Occasionally supplementary volumes appear.

Archives of Asian Art《亚洲艺术档案》（半年刊）. Since its establishment in 1945, Archives of Asian Art has been devoted to publishing new scholarship on the art and architecture of South, Southeast, Central, and East Asia. Articles discuss premodern and contemporary visual arts, archaeology, architecture, and the history of collecting. To maintain a balanced representation of regions and types of art and to present a variety of scholarly perspectives, the editors encourage submissions in all areas of study related to Asian art and architecture. Every issue is fully illustrated (with color plates in the online version), and each fall issue includes an illustrated compendium of recent acquisitions of Asian art by leading museums and collections. Archives of Asian Art is a publication of Asia Society.

The Bulletin of the School of Oriental and African Studies is the leading interdisciplinary journal on Asia, Africa and the Near and Middle East. It carries unparalleled coverage of the languages, cultures and civilisations of these regions from ancient times to the twentieth century. Publishing articles of the highest academic standard, it also features an extensive and influential reviews section.

Chinese Studies in History《中国历史研究》（季刊）. Chinese Studies in History makes noteworthy works and important trends of historical study in the Chinese-speaking world available to English-language readers. Thematic issues present original papers or articles from academic journals and anthologies that have been selected for translation because of their excellence, interest, and contribution to scholarship on the topic.

Acta Orientalia Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae《匈牙利科学院东方学报》（季刊）. Acta Orientalia Hung. provides an international forum for original papers in the field of Oriental studies, including Turkic, Mongolian, Manchu, Chinese, Japanese, Tibetan, Indian, Iranian and Semitic philology, linguistics, literature and history of the pre-modern era.

Acta Koreana《韩国学报》（半年刊）. Acta Koreana (ISSN 1520-7412, eISSN 2733-5348) is a peer-reviewed international journal of Korean Studies published in English by Academia Koreana, Keimyung University, Daegu, Korea. The journal was established in 1998 for the purpose of promoting new research on Korea in all academic disciplines within the arts and humanities.
