Animal Taxonomy and Ecology《动物分类学与生态学》（季刊）. Animal Taxonomy and Ecology publishes original works in the fields of animal taxonomy and systematics (both living and fossil), zoogeography, animal ecology and behaviour, population biology, biodiversity studies and nature conservation problems of international interest. Taxonomic revisions and monographs are especially welcome. Annotated checklists, type catalogues, etc. may also be considered. Short communications, or new species records for a given region are not in the focus of the scope of the journal, only if they are about important new locality data of currently spreading invasive species. Animal Taxonomy and Ecology is published quarterly in four issues, the articles are first published in Online First.

Published regularly since 1920, Acta Zoologica has retained its position as one of the worlds leading journals in the field of animal organization, development, structure and function. Each issue publishes original research of interest to zoologists and physiologists worldwide, in the field of animal structure (from the cellular to the organismic level) and development with emphasis on functional, comparative and phylogenetic aspects. Occasional review articles are also published, as well as book reviews.

Acta Veterinaria is an open access, peer-reviewed scientific journal of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade, Serbia, dedicated to the publication of original research articles, invited review articles, and to a limited extent methodology articles and case reports. The journal considers articles on all aspects of veterinary science and medicine, including the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of medical conditions of domestic, companion, farm and wild animals, as well as the biomedical processes that underlie their health.

Founded in 1959, Acta Veterinaria Scandinavica became an online, open access publication in 2006.

Acta Veterinaria Hungarica《匈牙利兽医学报》（季刊）. Acta Veterinaria Hungarica publishes original research papers presenting new scientific results of international interest, and to a limited extent also review articles and clinical case reports, on veterinary physiology (physiological chemistry and metabolism), veterinary microbiology (bacteriology, virology, immunology, molecular biology), on the infectious diseases of domestic animals, on veterinary parasitology, pathology, clinical veterinary science and reproduction.

The international journal Acta Societatis Botanicorum Poloniae is the oldest scientific journal published by the Polish Botanical Society, functioning continuously (with the exception of WWII) since 1923. The journal offers Open Access publication of original research papers, short communications, and reviews in all areas of plant science, including evolution, ecology, genetics, plant structure and development, physiology and biochemistry.

Acta Scientiarum-Technology《科学技术学报》（一年1卷）. Acta Scientiarum. Technology, a scientific journal of the State University of Maringá, published in print and also electronically communicates that, due to the costs of printing and shipping, besides the growing concern for the environment, will no longer have the printed form of the journal, from 2015 onwards.

Acta Scientiarum Polonorum-Hortorum Cultus《波兰科学院报:园艺学》（双月刊）. Hortorum Cultus is one of nine series of Acta Scientiarum Polonorum, a scientific journal founded in 2001 by the rectors of Polish agricultural universities, supervised by the Editorial Board – representatives of these universities.
