Progress in Reaction Kinetics and Mechanism is an open access, peer reviewed, international journal that presents results from the fields of kinetics and mechanisms of chemical processes in the gas phase and solution of both simple and complex systems. Primarily a vehicle for publishing original research papers and occasional reviews in reaction kinetics and mechanism, its scope is very wide, covering atoms, small molecules and free radicals in the gas phase (relevant to combustion, atmospheric chemistry, etc.), solution reactions (including those of organic molecules, polymers and inorganic complexes, the latter when directed towards developing energy storage devices and new catalysts for effecting established reactions but at lower energy cost and higher efficiency).

Progress in Quantum Electronics《量子电子学进展》（双月刊）. Progress in Quantum Electronics is an international review journal devoted to the dissemination of new, specialized topics at the forefront of quantum electronics and its applications. The journal publishes papers dealing with theoretical or experimental aspects of contemporary research such as advances in the physics, technology and engineering of subjects of relevance to quantum electronics. In addition, papers with new knowledge in interdisciplinary research (e.g. including bio and/or nano related work) are encouraged.

Articles in this section are intended to illuminate progress in physical geography in terms of the evolution of ideas over time. They need not be focussed on any one paper or book but can involve several related publications. Unlike Classics they may well focus on the more obscure, less well known but nevertheless significant aspects of the evolution of the subject.

Progress in Photovoltaics offers a prestigious forum for reporting advances in this rapidly developing technology, aiming to reach all interested professionals, researchers and energy policy-makers. The key criterion is that all papers submitted should report substantial “progress” in photovoltaics.

Progress in Particle and Nuclear Physics《粒子物理与核物理进展》（双月刊）. Taking the format of four issues per year, the journal aims to discuss new developments in the field at a level suitable for the general nuclear and particle physicist and, in greater technical depth, to explore the most important advances in these areas. Most of the articles will be in one of the fields of nuclear physics, hadron physics, heavy ion physics, particle physics, as well as astrophysics and cosmology. A particular effort is made to treat topics of an interface type for which both particle and nuclear physics are important.
