The journal Biomaterials Research is an Open Access journal supported by article processing charges (APCs). There are no submission charges.
APC Rate
The APC for all article types is USD 3,000.
This rate is exclusive of any taxes or duties that may be levied or assessed on it. Tax is based on the customer location and is not applicable for all customers. Tax will be automatically added where applicable during the payment process.
Waivers
The Science Partner Journals (SPJ) Program offers full APC waivers to authors in the developing world (Hinari A & B countries). Additionally, full or partial waivers may be available to those experiencing financial hardships. Waivers may be requested at any point in the editorial workflow (pre-submission to acceptance) but are not granted until acceptance.
