Author Guidelines

1. SUBMISSION

Authors should kindly note that submission implies that the content has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere except as a brief abstract in the proceedings of a scientific meeting or symposium.

New submissions should be made via the Research Exchange submission portal https://submission.wiley.com/journal/cbf. Should your manuscript proceed to the revision stage, you will be directed to make your revisions via the same submission portal. You may check the status of your submission at anytime by logging on to submission.wiley.com and clicking the “My Submissions” button. Preprint policy:

Wiley believes that journals publishing for communities with established pre-print servers should allow authors to submit manuscripts which have already been made available on a non-commercial preprint server. Allowing submission does not, of course, guarantee that an article will be sent out for review. It simply reflects our belief that journals should not rule out reviewing a paper simply because it has already been available on a non-commercial server. 2. AIMS AND SCOPE

Cell Biochemistry and Function publishes original research articles and reviews on the mechanisms whereby molecular and biochemical processes control cellular activity with a particular emphasis on the integration of molecular and cell biology, biochemistry and physiology in the regulation of tissue function in health and disease.

The primary remit of the journal is on mammalian biology both in vivo and in vitro but studies of cells in situ are especially encouraged. Observational and pathological studies will be considered providing they include a rational discussion of the possible molecular and biochemical mechanisms behind them and the immediate impact of these observations to our understanding of mammalian biology.
