INTRODUCTION

Types of article

Original Research: Provide a full length account of original research.

Review: Provide an in-depth and up to date critical review of a related topic.

Leading Opinion Paper: Opinionated exposition on an important scientific issue or event designed to stimulate further discussion in a broader scientific forum. This article type may only be submitted by invitation from the Editor-in-Chief.

When submitting opinion paper, please ensure to add the words “Opinion paper” before the article title. Example: Opinion paper: Photo-curing .... challenges.

Submission checklist

You can use this list to carry out a final check of your submission before you send it to the journal for review. Please check the relevant section in this Guide for Authors for more details.

Ensure that the following items are present:

One author has been designated as the corresponding author with contact details:

o E-mail address o Full postal address

All necessary files have been uploaded:

Manuscript:

o Include keywords

o All figures (include relevant captions)

o All tables (including titles, description, footnotes)

o Ensure all figure and table citations in the text match the files provided

o Indicate clearly if color should be used for any figures in print

Graphical Abstracts / Highlights files (where applicable)

Supplemental files (where applicable)

Further considerations

o Manuscript has been 'spell checked' and 'grammar checked'

o All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa

o Permission has been obtained for use of copyrighted material from other sources (including the Internet)

o A competing interests statement is provided, even if the authors have no competing interests to declare

o Journal policies detailed in this guide have been reviewed

o Referee suggestions and contact details provided, based on journal requirements

If your manuscript is related to clinical study, please provide following pieces of information and state them in your manuscript: 1) date of IRB approval and the approval number, 2) status of informed consent (IC); [e.g. Was written IC required? Was your clinical study approved without IC? If so, the reason why?]
