Submission process

Submission of your paper via our submission management tool

Peer review process (you will be guided through every step)

Decision on your paper (approx. 3-4 weeks from submission to first decision)

The revised manuscript must be submitted within two months of the authors’ notification of conditional acceptance

Submission process for “Fast Track” articles:

Authors who wish to apply for Fast Track processing should clearly state this in their mandatory cover letter to the Editor

Processing of submitted manuscripts in the Fast Track mode is subject to approval by the responsible Executive Editor or Editor-in-Chief

Accepted Fast Track articles are also published online in manuscript format within approx. 3 working days with DOI for immediate citability

Once your article is accepted you have the option to publish it open access
