Submission of manuscripts

We welcome papers written in English, in exceptional cases in French or German. In order to get accepted for publication a paper should be a new and significant contribution to mathematics within the scope of this journal. Submission of a paper implies that it has not been published elsewhere and it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Upon submission, authors should indicate a member of the Editorial Board whose research area is close to the topic of the paper. Papers are expected to be written in Latex using the ZAA class file and usually not to exceed 20 pages.

Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically in PDF format, using the online submission form. In order to avoid unnecessary difficulties or delay in printing authors are strongly encouraged to follow the more detailed set of instructions which can be found at www.math.uni-leipzig.de/cms/en/forschung/zaa/.

No page charge is made.

Copyright and Offprints

It is a condition of publication in the Journal that authors assign copyright to the European Mathematical Society. This ensures that requests from third parties to reproduce articles are handled efficiently and consistently and will also allow the article to be as widely disseminated as possible. In assigning copyright, authors may use their own material in other, non-commercial publications provided that the Journal is properly acknowledged as the original place of publication.

Authors of papers published in the Journal will be entitled to a pdf file of their contribution. Copies of offprints may be purchased in batches of 50 if ordered in advance of production of the corresponding issue, but no later than when the proofs are returned. Prices are available on request from the publisher (info@ems-ph.org).
