This includes free-ranging,wild populations, semi-domesticated species (e.g. reindeer) and farmed populations of recently domesticated or wild-captured species (e.g. cultured fishes).

It publishes the results of original research in the area of anti-parasite drug identification, development and evaluation, and parasite drug resistance. The journal also covers research into natural products as anti-parasitic agents, and bioactive parasite products. Studies can be aimed at unicellular or multicellular parasites of human or veterinary importance.

Memórias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz《Oswaldo Cruz研究所论文集》（一年1卷）. The Memórias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz (MIOC) is a multidisciplinary journal which publishes original research on microbes and their vectors causing human infections. It welcomes basic and applied research in biochemistry, immunology, molecular and cell biology, physiology, pharmacology and genetics related to these subjects.

Parasites, Hosts and Diseases《寄生虫、宿主和疾病》（季刊）. Parasites, Hosts and Diseases (Parasit Host Dis; formerly the Korean Journal of Parasitology) is the official journal of The Korean Society for Parasitology and Tropical Medicine. The journal is devoted to the dissemination of new knowledge concerning parasites infecting humans and animals, vectors, host-parasite relationships, zoonosis, and tropical medicine. Only manuscripts written in English are accepted. Parasit Host Dis follows the Open Access Journal policy.
