近日，越来越多的学者在关注知名国际SSCI期刊《英国会计评论》（简称BAR），其中一条重要原因是，该刊2021年Citescore（7.3）在会计和金融学刊里排第7，在会计学刊里名列第三。从影响因子来看，这意味着，《英国会计评论》冲入了国际会计TOP3的行列。
以下是联合主编写给编委会和关注BAR朋友的一封信，从中证实了这一信息的真实性。
Dear Editorial Board Members and Friends of the BAR,We have a piece of exciting news to share with you. The CiteScore 2021 is published by Scopus -Elsevier on 8 June 2022. The CiteScore of the BAR has increased from 7 in 2020 to 7.3 in 2021,placing it no. 7 among 163 accounting and finance journals and top 3 among all accounting journals.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all editorial board members including AEs and Consulting Editors for your tremendous efforts and thank authors and friends of the BAR for your excellent contributions and great support. The new CiteScore further confirms the BAR’s leading position in accounting and finance journals.
Citescore is estimated as the ratio of the total number of citations over the number of published articles in the past three years and widely used as a metric to track journal performance.
