Plant calcium signaling mechanisms see details at https://plantandmicrobiology.berkeley.edu/users/sheng-luan Qualifications PhD graduates trained in electrophysiology procedures including patch-clamp and voltage clamp protocols to analyze ion channel activities in plant cells, animal culture cells, and frog oocytes. Molecular cloning and plant genetics trainings will be plus. The candidates should also have published their research in well-recognized research journals. Those candidates without electrophysiology training but have strong publication record in plant signal transduction and/or membrane transport field are also encouraged to apply.
