PROTEOMICS is the premier international source for information on all aspects of applications and technologies, including software, in proteomics, other omics and systems biology approaches. The journal includes but is not limited to proteomics, genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics and lipidomics, and systems biology approaches. Papers describing novel applications of proteomics and integration of multi-omics data and approaches are especially welcome.

Proteome Science《蛋白质组学》（一年1卷）. Proteome Science is an open access journal publishing research in the area of systems studies. Proteome Science considers manuscripts based on all aspects of functional and structural proteomics, genomics, metabolomics, systems analysis and metabiome analysis. It encourages the submissions of studies that use large-scale or systems analysis of biomolecules in a cellular, organismal and/or environmental context.

Protein Science, the flagship journal of The Protein Society, publishes original reports and review articles that advance fundamental knowledge, in the broadest sense, concerning protein molecules. Protein Science welcomes papers describing experimental and computational or theoretical studies focused on protein function, including analyses of mechanism, structure, folding, design, and evolution. We also welcome papers that describe the applications of protein science in the areas of therapeutics, protein-based biomaterials, bionanotechnology, synthetic biology, and bioelectronics.
