The Journal of Statistical Software (JSS) publishes open-source software and corresponding reproducible scholary articles discussing all aspects of the design, implementation, documentation, application, evaluation, comparison, maintenance and distribution of software dedicated to improvement of state-of-the-art in statistical computing in all areas of empirical research. Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation ( JSCS ) publishes significant and original work in areas of statistics which are related to or dependent upon the computer. Fields covered include computer algorithms related to probability or statistics, studies in statistical inference by means of simulation techniques, and implementation of interactive statistical systems.
