Theatre Survey《戏剧观察》（一年3期）. Theatre Survey is chartered by the American Society for Theatre Research as a theatre history journal. Its theatrical and historical orientations are broadly conceived. Performance-centered and historiographic studies from all points across the historical, cultural, and methodological spectra are welcome. Recent issues have included an article on the early professional deaf theatre in post-Stalinist Soviet Union, a study of the gestural vocabulary found in surviving images of early commedia dellarte, a philosophical treatise by Alan Badiou, and an essay on the impact of neoliberalism—from the classroom to the department to the “global university”—that suggests how theatre and performance scholars might approach the political difficulties currently threatening the mission of higher education.

Theatre Research International《国际戏剧研究》（一年3期）. Theatre Research International publishes articles on theatre practices in their social, cultural, and historical contexts, their relationship to other media of representation, and to other fields of inquiry. The journal seeks to reflect the evolving diversity of critical idioms prevalent in the scholarship of differing world contexts.

Theatre Notebook《戏剧札记》（一年3期）. Theatre Notebook is a journal of the history and technique of the British theatre. It interprets theatre widely, covering theatrical activities inside and outside theatre buildings, professional and amateur theatre, the business of theatre, stage design, the history of theatre buildings, acting technique, and theatre outside the British Isles that relates directly to the history and technique of British theatre.

Theatre History Studies《戏剧史研究》（年刊）. Official journal of the Mid-America Theatre Conference. Devoted to research and excellence in all areas of theatre history. The official journal of the Mid-American Theatre Conference and published by the University of Alabama Press. Since 1981, Theatre History Studies has provided critical, analytical, and descriptive articles on all aspects of theatre history. The journal is devoted to disseminating the highest quality scholarly endeavors in order to promote understanding and discovery of world theatre history.

Theater heute《今日戏剧》 （月刊）. Theater heute ist seit seiner Entstehung zur Instanz für die kritische Begleitung des deutschsprachigen Theaters geworden. Gegründet wurde die Zeitschrift im Sommer 1960 von Erhard Friedrich und Henning Rischbieter.Zusammen mit dem späteren Dramaturgen und Regisseur Ernst Wendt entwickelte Rischbieter eine Zeitschrift, die über die feuilletonistische Tageskritik weit hinausging. Dabei beobachtete Theater heute von Anfang an nicht nur das Geschehen auf den Bühnen im deutschsprachigen Raum – einschließlich der DDR – , sondern auch international.

Published on behalf of the Yale School of Drama/Yale Repertory Theatre.For almost fifty years Theater has been the most informative, serious, and imaginative American journal available to readers interested in contemporary theater and performance. It has been the first publisher of pathbreaking plays from artists as diverse as Romeo Castellucci, Guillermo Calderón, Richard Foreman, W. David Hancock, Peter Handke, Elfriede Jelinek, Sarah Kane, Toshiki Okada, and Suzan-Lori Parks. Theater has also featured lively polemics and essays by dramatists including Dario Fo, Heiner Müller, and Mac Wellman. TEMPO《节奏》（季刊）. TEMPO exists to document the international new music scene while contributing to, and stimulating, current debates therein. Its emphasis is on musical developments in our own century, as well as on music that came to prominence in the later twentieth century that has not yet received the attention it deserves. The articles and reviews cover the new music scene in all its complexity, featuring discussions of compositional trends, performance practices, listening practices, new music contexts and reception histories. TEMPO is sympathetic both to writing about new forms of creative practice (electronic, interdisciplinary, performance-based) and to writing that employs innovative methods of enquiry that differ from the aims of traditional musicology.
