INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

Journal of Harbin Institute of Technology (New Series) is world-oriented academic journal in natural science and engineering technology sponsored by Harbin Institute of Technology (http://hit.alljournals.cn/jhit_cn/ch/index.aspx,6 issues per year ) . The journal welcomes high-quality original contributions, topics mainly focusing in the following fields: Aerospace and Astronautics, Control Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering,Materials Science and Engineering, Computer Science, Robot Technology,Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Energy Science and Engineering,Electrical Engineering, etc.

·The manuscript must be original,and does not duplicate any other and your own previously published work.

·The manuscript has been submitted only to Journal of Harbin Institute of Technology(New Series) ; it is not under consideration or peer review or accepted for publication or in press or published elsewhere.

·The manuscript contains nothing that is confidential, or illegal.

Introduction for submission

Please submit the manuscript online at http://hit.alljournals.cn/jhit_cn/ch/author/login.aspx. Submissions of Microsoft WORD files containing original,high quality figures are encouraged.

Manuscript preparation

·Language. Manuscripts only written in English are accepted.

· Length and structure of manuscript. The manuscript (.doc or . docx) should have the following structure: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Abstract, Keywords, CLC number, Main text, References, Acknowledgements.

·Title. Concise and informative,and generally no more than 30 words.

·Authors. All authors of a manuscript should include their full names,complete affiliations,E-mail address.

·Abstract. Please provide one paragraph containing a complete but concise description of your work in 200－300 words. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research,the adopted approach,the principal results and major conclusions. Since the abstract is indexed in many database,it should be selfcontained without any undefined abbreviations or any cited references.

·Keywords. Please provide 3 to 8 keywords which can be used for indexing purposes.

·CLC number. Please provide CLC (Chinese library classification) number.

· Footnotes. Please provide the received date of manuscript,the name and number of funding program, the name and email address for corresponding author on the footnote of the title page of the manuscript.

· Formulates and symbols and all subscripts, superscripts,Greek letters,and other characters must be legible and carefully checked. Standard mathematical notation should be used. All symbols used in manuscript must be explained.

Single letters that denote mathematical constants, variables,and unknown quantities should be set in italic type in text and in equations. Numerals, operators,and punctuation should be set in Roman type(upright) ,as are commonly defined functions or abbreviations,e. g.,cos,det,e or exp,lim,log, max,min,sin,tan,d(for derivation) should also be upright. Vectors,tensors,and matrices should be set in bold italic.

·Figures and Tables. Please provide the highest quality figure format possible. All figures must be numbered using Arab numerals in the order in which they appear in the manuscript. For each figure,please supply a figure title and a figure caption. Make sure to identify all elements found in the figure in the caption.

Tables should be always cited in the text in consecutive numerical order. For each table,please supply a table title which should explain clearly and concisely the components of the table. The table is in the three-line table form.

·Heading /Section levels. For articles,please use the decimal system of headings with no more than three levels. For examples: 1 Introduction,2 Experimental, 2.1…,2. 2…,2. 2. 1…,2. 2. 2 …,3 Results and Discussion,4 Conclusions.

· References. The list of references should only include works that are cited in the text and that have been published. References to the literature are cited by superscript number in square brackets at appropriate locations (before a period,comma,etc.) in the text.

References are not less than 20.

All literature citations are compiled in a numbered References list at the end of the manuscript text,in the order of their first citation in the text. Each numbered reference may contain only one literature citation. Please ensure references are given in the correct format,including titles of journal /book chapters with initial and final page numbers.
