Journal of Translational Neuroscience (JTN), is a quarterly, peer reviewed electronic journal taking the CD for medium.
Aims and Scope
JTN covers research findings in all subfields of neuroscience as well as in the fields of neurology, neurosurgery and psychiatry. It provides a closer interaction between basic and clinical neuroscientists to expand understanding of brain structure, function and disease, and translate this knowledge into clinical applications and novel therapies of nervous system disorders.
Publication Formats
Ø Research Articles: Each manuscript should clearly state an objective or hypothesis, the methods, the main results of the study and the conclusions.
Ø Reviews: Review articles include systematic, critical assessments of literature and data sources pertaining to different medical topics, such as cause, diagnosis, prognosis, therapy, or prevention, etc.
Ø Methodology: Methodology should present a new experimental method, test or procedure. The method may either be completely new or a better version of an existing method.
Ø Case Reports: Authors usually describe one to three patients or a single family.
Ø Video and Audio: JTN encourages authors to prepare video-articles or audio-articles as an adjunct to their publication, to allow visualization of the techniques under-pinning the published research.
