American Quarterly《美国季刊》（季刊）. American Quarterly has been the preeminent guide to American studies since 1949. With a broad, humanistic understanding of American culture, the journal encourages cross-disciplinary work. In addition, it publishes forums, exhibition and book reviews, and short, timely think pieces. American Quarterly is the official publication of the American Studies Association (ASA).

The American Poetry Review《美国诗歌评论》（双月刊）. The American Poetry Review is dedicated to reaching a worldwide audience with a diverse array of the best contemporary poetry and literary prose. APR also aims to expand the audience interested in poetry and literature, and to provide authors, especially poets, with a far-reaching forum in which to present their work. The American Poetry Review has been in continuous publication since 1972 and has presented the work of over 5,000 writers.

American Philosophical Quarterly《美国哲学季刊》（季刊）. Since its inauguration in 1964, the American Philosophical Quarterly (APQ) has established itself as one of the principal English vehicles for the publication of scholarly work in philosophy. The whole of each issue—printed in a large-page, double-column format—is given to substantial articles; from time to time there are also "state of the art" surveys of recent work on particular topics. The editorial policy is to publish work of high quality, regardless of the school of thought from which it derives. APQ is published by the University of Illinois Press on behalf of North American Philosophical Publications.

American Nineteenth Century History《美国十九世纪历史》（一年3期）. American Nineteenth Century History is a peer-reviewed, transatlantic journal devoted to the history of the United States during the long nineteenth century. It welcomes contributions on themes and topics relating to America in this period: slavery, race, and ethnicity, the Civil War and Reconstruction, military history, American nationalism, urban history, immigration and ethnicity, western history, the history of women, gender studies, African Americans and Native Americans, cultural studies and comparative pieces. In addition to articles based on original research, historiographical pieces, reassessments of historical controversies, and reappraisals of prominent events or individuals are welcome. Special issues devoted to a particular theme or topic will also be considered.

American Music《美国音乐》（季刊）. American Music is an independent, peer-reviewed journal published quarterly by the University of Illinois Press. Its articles, reviews, and special issues are devoted to American music in the broadest sense, including musical practices of North, South, and Central America as well as American musics performed anywhere in the world.

American Literature《美国文学》（季刊）. American Literature has been regarded since its inception as the preeminent periodical in its field. Each issue contains articles covering the works of several American authors—from colonial to contemporary—as well as an extensive book review section; a “Brief Mention” section offering citations of new editions and reprints, collections, anthologies, and other professional books; and an “Announcements” section that keeps readers up-to-date on prizes, competitions, conferences, grants, and publishing opportunities.

American Literary Realism《美国文学现实主义》（一年3期）. American Literary Realism publishes critical essays, bibliographies, documents, notes, and reviews concerning the period of American Realism.

American Literary History《美国文学史》（季刊）. Covering the study of US literature from its origins through the present, American Literary History provides a much-needed forum for the various, often competing voices of contemporary literary inquiry. Along with an annual special issue, the journal features essay-reviews, commentaries, and critical exchanges. It welcomes articles on historical and theoretical problems as well as writers and works. Inter-disciplinary studies from related fields are also invited.

The American Journal of Semiotics《美国符号学杂志》（季刊）. The American Journal of Semiotics is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary research publication sponsored by the Semiotic Society of America. It publishes original contributions in the form of topical articles, response articles, and critical reviews on any subject related to the science of signs and meaning, whether theoretical, methodological, or applied. Open to all semiotic traditions, the journal expects submissions to make advances in fundamental sign theory, or to leverage semiotic methodologies for rigorous interpretive exploration of communication processes throughout the semiotic sphere, whether physical, logical, biological, physiological, ecological, phenomenological, psychological, anthropological, sociological, political, philosophical, theological, cosmological, or any such modes in combination.

American Journal of Philology《美国语文学杂志》（季刊）. Founded in 1880, American Journal of Philology (AJP) has helped to shape American classical scholarship. Today, the Journal has achieved worldwide recognition as a forum for international exchange among classicists and philologists by publishing original research in classical literature, philology, linguistics, history, society, religion, philosophy, and cultural and material studies. Book review sections are featured in every issue. AJP is open to a wide variety of contemporary and interdisciplinary approaches, including literary interpretation and theory, historical investigation, and textual criticism.
