Modern Chinese Literature and Culture《中国现代文学与文化》（半年刊）. Modern Chinese Literature and Culture is a peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary cultural studies journal. In addition to literary studies, MCLC publishes on a broad range of subjects from film to popular culture, to performance and visual arts, to architecture, to regional cultures, to print and material cultures. Our view of culture includes the elite and the popular, the visual and the literary, as well as the less “textual” culture of everyday life. The journal encourages the use of photographs, graphics, film or video stills.

Modern China《近代中国》（双月刊）. Published for over thirty years, Modern China has been an indispensable source of scholarship in history and the social sciences on late-imperial, twentieth-century, and present-day China. Modern China presents scholarship based on new research or research that is devoted to new interpretations, new questions, and new answers to old questions. Spanning the full sweep of Chinese studies of six centuries, Modern China encourages scholarship that crosses over the old "premodern/modern" and "modern/contemporary" divides. In addition to research articles, Modern China presents periodic symposia on important topics in Chinese studies, critical essays on the state of Chinese studies, in-depth review articles on particular areas of scholarship, and reviews of books of unusual quality and significance.

Modern Asian Studies《现代亚洲研究》（双月刊）. Modern Asian Studies publishes cutting-edge research articles on the history, social anthropology, sociology, political science, and cultures of modern Asia. Covering all the regions of Asia, including Maritime Asia, and their interconnections, the journal particularly welcomes articles which deploy interdisciplinary and comparative research methods. Since its inception in 1967, Modern Asian Studies has specialized in the publication of longer monographic essays whose theoretical claims are supported by rich empirical data. It also carries substantial synoptic review essays which summarize and critique the current state of a field of study, and it publishes special issues, forums, and roundtable discussions which explore topical themes in depth and from a number of perspectives.

Mobilization《动员》（季刊）. Mobilization publishes new research on social and political movements, strikes, riots, protests, insurgencies, revolutions, and other forms of contentious politics. Its goal is to advance the systematic, scholarly, and scientific study of these phenomena, and to provide a forum for the discussion of methodologies, theories, and conceptual approaches across the disciplines of sociology, political science, social psychology, and anthropology.In recognition of the growing interconnectedness of the international community of social movement scholars, of the globalization of protest and protest repertoires, and of the need for crossnational comparison for theoretical advance, Mobilization is an international journal that encourages contributions and subscriptions from the global community of scholars.

Mobilities《流动性》（双月刊）. Mobilities examines the large-scale movements of people, objects, capital, and information across the world, as well as more local processes of daily transportation, movement through public and private space and the travel of material objects in everyday life. New transportation and digital infrastructures and novel social and cultural practices pose important challenges for coordinating and governing mobilities and for mobility rights and questions of ‘access’. These ‘mobility’ issues have generated new research methods and theories. Mobilities publishes original, theoretically-informed research which is international in scope. The journal addresses major topical issues and fosters scholarly debate around the ‘mobility’ turn.

Mobile Media & Communication is a peer-reviewed forum for international, interdisciplinary academic research on the dynamic field of mobile media and communication. Mobile Media & Communication draws on a wide and continually renewed range of disciplines, engaging broadly in the concept of mobility itself.The journal embraces both quantitative and qualitative approaches to the study of mobility in communication, but above all aims toward state-of-the-art methodology.
